Accounting and Reporting Consultant - Secondment - Genoa

Fidiger S.p.A., a consulting firm specializing in accounting & finance, is seeking an Accounting and Reporting Consultant for a secondment assignment at a client based in Genoa.

The selected candidate, working alongside Fidiger colleagues and integrated into the client company’s internal team, will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Management of administrative and accounting compliance obligations
• Recording, verification, and analysis of accounting data related to receivables, payables, treasury, and personnel costs
• Preparation of annual financial statements and periodic reporting
• Preparation of all tax-related declarations and communications required by current legislation
• Management of payments, due date monitoring, collections, and follow-ups
• Issuance and processing of invoices (both sales and purchases)
• Budgeting and forecasting activities. 

Requirements:

• University degree in economic or business disciplines
• Relevant experience in accounting, preferably gained in medium-sized companies or established professional firms
• Excellent command of the English language
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team. 

Proficiency in SAP or other administrative/accounting management software will be considered an advantage.

The opportunity is a fixed-term contract of 6 months, with clear prospects for permanent placement.

The work location is Genoa.
